The Woodmere Art Museum is a local Philadelphia hidden gem that holds a majority of Philadelphia based artists pieces. Originally a private collection started by founder Charles Knox Smith in his home, Smith opened his estate to the public in 1910 and never looked back. This small museum is a very intimate and personal part of Chestnut Hill and works hard to connect both art and nature with Smiths initial intention behind the museum itself.
This goal behind this rebrand was to create a series of cohesive logos that correlate with the museum itself and their intention of binding both art and nature together. The color pallet comes from the greenery at Woodmere with their massive trees and the Victorian arches within the building itself seen in the pictorial logo here.
